Top Ten Books I Want to See As Movies/TV Shows

Books have always made me want to be a casting director. In fact, if I could be anything in the world, a casting director might be in my top 5 career aspirations. So when I look at these books, I think of all the potential and how actors can bring these books to life on the big or small screen. I would really love to see any or all of these done, especially Why I Love Singlehood as a tv show!

Apparently the CW is no longer pursuing The Selection, boo! However, supposedly When You Were Mine is in pre-production (although I heard that like a year ago). Finally, please read The Chupacabra and try not to imagine Zach Galifianakis as Avery; it's impossible.

Runner Ups: Edgewood by Karen McQuestion and Matched by Ally Condie.

Omitted because they are in production: Gone Girl by Gillian Flynn and Divergent by Veronica Roth

**all books listed that are part of a series implies the full series would be released ;) **

  1. Graceling would be great! I started What Alice Forgot once and for some reason I didn't read it, but I still want to! I need to check out some of the others!

  3. I'm with you on Graceling. I think that book/series would be great to watch as tv or a movie.
